Quran Manuscripts On Display in Tatarstan
An exhibition titled "Written Quran in the spiritual life of the Tatar people" opened by the Iranian Cultural Center in Tatarstan.
According to IQNA’s branch in Europe, the Quranic exhibition has been organized in cooperation with Tatarstan’s Ministry of Culture, the Kremlin Museum and the Institute of Languages and Literature of the Federal University.
The opening ceremony of the exhibition was held with the participation of religious, political and cultural figures as well as a number of Tatar researcher and imams of mosques in the capital city.
The Museum of Islamic Culture is hosting the exhibition until November 1.
The exhibition is a continuation of cultural and educational events in 2012, announced in the Republic of Tatarstan as the Year of the Quran.
