Ankara to Host 2nd Int'l Symposium on Rethinking the Quran

The 2nd International Symposium on Rethinking the Quran is slated to be held on 10th – 11th May 2014 in Ankara, Turkey.
Organized by the Research Institute for Philosophical Foundation of Disciplines, this comprehensive meeting will focus upon concepts and terms used in the Quran.
The symposium is an interdisciplinary conference that provides the opportunity to gather academicians and researchers from different countries and to discuss the issues and display the most recent development in studying Quranic concepts and terms.
The aim of the meeting is to co-operate with specialists on the concepts and terms used in the Quran and create an international platform to discuss and exchange ideas among scholars.
Methodologies of Conceptual Analysis and Meanings of The Basic/Key Concepts and Terms Used In The Quran are the main topics to be discussed in the conference.
The deadline for submitting abstracts and proposals is November 25, 2013.
