The Sahifeh Sajjadiyeh software package was unveiled in a ceremony on Monday, October 7.
The ceremony was held at the Iranian Academics’ Quranic Activities Organization with the participation of Hojat-ol-Islam Ahmad Salek, head of the Majlis’ Cultural Commission.
In an address, Hojat-ol-Islam Salek described the production of the software as an act of worship and one that provides answers to the world’s spiritual needs.
He said that the enemies of Islam are targeting the religious beliefs of the youth by technological tools such as satellite receivers and the internet and that proper planning is required to stand against the enemies’ cultural onslaughts.
The cleric urged for more attention to Sahifeh Sajjadiey (a collection of supplications and prayers of Imam Sajjad (AS)) and Nahj-ul-Balaqa (a collection of sermons, letters and sayings of Imam Ali (AS)).
He went on to say that a huge cultural front is needed to be launched in society to deepen religious knowledge and enhance political knowledge.
Head of the Iranian Academics’ Quranic Activities Organization Hojat-ol-Islam Seyyed Mehdi Taqavi, and a number of other cultural officials were also present at the ceremony.
The Sahifeh Sajjadiyeh software package has been produced by Paraxweb Company and can be downloaded at www.paraxweb.com.
