Quranic Course for Teachers of Islamic Sciences Concludes in Karbala

A Quranic course titled “Umm-ol-Banin” was held for female teachers of Islamic sciences by Dar-ol-Quran of Imam Hussein’s (AS) Holy Shrine in Karbala.
According to the information website of the holy shrine, 84 women of the province participated at the educational course which was concluded on October 7.
The closing ceremony of the course was attended by Hassan Rashid, representative of the holy shrine’s custodianship and Hamed Alsalami, a member of the Education Office of Karbala Province.
Seyyed Mohammad Taher Al-Mousawi recited some verses of the Holy Quran at the beginning of the program which was continued with speeches by Ali ‘Obud Al-Tayi, head of a branch of the office, who appreciated the cooperation and active role of the office in successful organization of the course as well as other educational Quranic courses for the teachers.
Israa Hussein Abdullah with 98 grades was the first top participant in the course and ‘Olyaa Imad Abdullah and Hana Kamel Ni’mah were selected as the second and the third ones, respectively.
Also addressing the program, Hassan Rashid said that the Quranic courses organized by the Dar-ol-Quran are very effective in training a generation familiar with the Holy Quran who plays important roles in developing Islamic societies.
Recitation and interpretation of the Holy Quran’s verses and Quranic sciences were instructed during the 20-day course.
