Tajweed Recitation Course in France
A year-long course on Tajweed recitation of the Holy Quran got underway in France this Saturday, October 5.
The course is held by the Islamic school in the city of Argenteuil, Ile-de-France region, saphirnews reported.
The Quranic course, which is for men only, will continue until June next year, the report said.
It features Tajweed recitation rules and how to apply these rules while reciting verses from the Holy Quran.
The course is held one day a week on Saturdays from 2 P.M. to 5 P.M. and those interested from all age groups can take it.
France is a country in Western Europe with the largest Muslim minority population. Around six million Muslims are estimated to live in the country.
