The pilgrims who took part in the Bara'at from Mushrikin (disavowal of disbelievers) on Monday, in a statement called on the scholars and elites of the Muslim world to prevent the tarnishing of Islam’s image in the world.
They underlined the need for knowing the enemy of the Muslim Ummah and the plots of the world arrogance.
They renewed their allegiance with the sublime aspirations of the Founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran Imam Khomeini (RA) and the commands of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khamenei.
The Hajjis emphasized that Hajj is an opportunity for Muslims to confront the conspiracies of the world arrogance and Zionism, adding that the Muslim Ummah will play its role in running the world, developing civilization and presenting the best example.
They highlighted the need for strengthening Islamic unity and condemned Takfir ( considering one’s fellow Muslim as infidel), terrorist activities and attempts to foment discord in the Muslim world.
The Hajj pilgrims further expressed support for the Islamic Awakening movement and warned against diversion of these movements from their right path.
They reiterated their support for the cause of Palestine as the Muslim world’s central issue and said the holy Quds and the Palestinian lands should be liberated.
They rejected any attempt to divert Muslims and world attention from the issue of Palestine and voiced support for the resistance of the Palestinian people.
Elsewhere in the statement, the Hajj pilgrims praised the experience of Iran’s Islamic Revolution in presenting a successful example of political Islam by establishing a religious democracy and lauded the Islamic Republic of Iran’s accomplishments in different fields including realization of scientific progress and establishment of justice and security despite all-out enemy attempts against the country by the enemies.
