Muslim Journeys: Pathways of Faith "The Story of the Quran" discussion will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 15, in Coastal Carolina University's Lackey Chapel.
The public is invited to attend this free event.
The affect the Quran has on millions of people is wide and varied, including law, art, politics, science and personal relationships. This discussion will explore the doctrines of the text as well as key themes, interpretations and teachers of the book that defines what it means to be a Muslim.
This presentation is co-sponsored by the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies, Kimbel Library, the Center for Peace and Conflict Studies and the Jackson Family Center for Ethics and Values.
