French Christians Congratulate Muslims on Eid

The Islamic Relations Council of France’s Catholic Church congratulate Muslims on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha.
Head of the council on Tuesday sent a message extending felicitations to Muslims all over France on the occasion, Saphirnews reported.
He said the Eid Al-Adha is a manifestation of faith and Prophet Abraham’s (AS) obedience to God.
The head of Islamic Relations Council said the occasion is a reminder for fraternity and enhancing relations among followers of different faiths.
He prayed for blessings from God for Muslims all over France on the auspicious occasion of Eid Al-Adha.
In his message, the head of Islamic Relations Council also referred to the recent joint visit to Syria by France’s Muslim and Christian figures and prayed that peace and tranquility will return to the life of Syrian people.
At the end of the Hajj (annual pilgrimage to Makkah), Muslims throughout the world celebrate the holiday of Eid al-Adha (Festival of Sacrifice).
