Islamic Institute in Brussels Holds Quranic Courses

A series of Quranic courses are planned for men and women in the Belgian capital of Brussels.
The Dar-ul-Olum Islamic Institute is organizing the courses, which include teaching the rules of Tajweed, islamic-events website reported.
The courses, which also feature reading the Quran accurately as well as interpretation of the Holy Book’s verses, will last for three months.
The classes will be held on Saturdays and Sundays from 9 to 12 (for men) and from 4:30 P.M. to 7 P.M. (for women).
Those who are willing to take the courses need to be familiar with the Arabic language and basic rules of Quran reading.
Registration will for the Quranic courses will start on Saturday, October 19, the Islamic institute has announced.
According to recent estimates, more than 600,000 Belgians, around 6 percent of the entire population, are Muslim.
