Delivering his Friday prayers sermon at Harra Harik district in Beirut, Lebanon’s capital, Sayyed Ali Fadhlallah added that the al Khalifa regime’s attempts to portray the Bahraini people’s uprising as violent have failed.
The Lebanese cleric underlined the need for the Al Khalifa regime to stop its crackdown on the nation of Bahrain.
He said the Bahraini regime must accept the nation’s demands and put an end to the oppression of its citizens.
Elsewhere in his sermon, Fadlallah pointed to terrorist bombings in Iraq and wondered why many of the Muslim world’s religious and political figures have remained silent over the attacks.
He praised the fortitude and resistance of the Iraqi nation against the enemies who are seeking to destroy Iraq.
Head of the Allameh Ffadlallah Institute also talked about the situation in Syria, saying that Syria is in a big crisis now and the country’s people are suffering from the plots hatched by foreign enemies.
