20 Countries to Attend Course for Quran Competition Judges

Representatives from 20 countries will attend a course held for Quran experts who serve as judges in Quran competitions.
The course will be held in Saudi Arabia next month by the country’s Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Awqaf and Guidance, Al-Ryadh daily reported.
It will be organized on the sidelines of Saudi Arabia’s 35th international Quran memorization, recitation and interpretation competition.
Secretary of the competition Mansour Bin Muhammad Al-Samih said the aim of the course is improving the skills of the participants for judging in Quranic contests.
He said the 30-hour course will be held for qualified individuals in 5 days, both in the morning and afternoon.
The age limit for the participants is between 20 and 45 and they are required to be memorizers of the entire Quran.
The 35th international Quran memorization, recitation and interpretation competition of Saudi Arabia will be held in the holy city of Makkah from November 24 to December 1.
