Int’l Forum on Islamic Philosophy Planned in Tunisia

An international forum on “Islamic philosophy in view of Avicenna and Mulla Sadra” will be held by The Tunisian Academy of Science, Literature and Arts "Beit al-Hikma", from October 22 to 24.
According to lemag website, Iranian Cultural Center in Tunisia will cooperate in organizing the international program.
It aims to investigate the views and thoughts of the two eminent Iranian philosophers.
Representatives from Iran, Tunisia, Morocco, Egypt, France, Germany, Belgium and America will attend the forum to present results of their researches on the influence of Avicenna and Mulla Sadra on Islamic Philosophy.
Hisham Ju’ait, historian, philosopher and head of the academy, is one of the famous figures to address the forum.
He is a Muslim theorist about the world of Islam’s arrival into modernity, who teaches as an honorary lecturer at McGill University of Canada, Berkley University in America and some of universities in France.
