The competition, titled Sultan Qaboos, will be hosted by the Islamic Sciences Center in the capital Muscat, Oman Daily reported.
Ali Al-Saqri who heads the contest’s jury panel said the men’s section will be organized on October 28-29 while women will compete on the third day of the competition, Wednesday, October 30.
He said Quran recitation experts have been selected to serve at the jury panel in the final round of the contest.
Al-Saqri stated that 24 contenders who had the best performance in previous round, will attend the final stage of the national Quran competition.
Ibrahim Bin Muhammad Abdullah Al-Suleimani, member of the competition’s media committee said the media section of the competition has done very well in providing media coverage for the contest this year.
