The enemies of the Islamic Republic are seeking to create insecurity in the country through terrorist conspiracies, a member of the Assembly of Experts said.
Speaking to IQNA’s Qom branch, Hojat-ol-Islam Seyyed Mohammad Vaez-Mousavi said solidarity and unity around Vilayat-e Faqih (Leadership of the Supreme Jurist) would foil terrorist plots and will be a severe blow to the ill-wishers of the Islamic Establishment.
He said three decades after the victory of the Islamic Revolution led by Imam Khomeini (RA), the Islamic Establishment has reached stability and is powerful in all political, economic and military dimensions.
Hojat-ol-Islam Vaez-Mousavi underlined that the outstanding progresses made by the Islamic country provides a role model for all the oppressed nations of the world.
He said the advances made by the Iranian nation has angered the world arrogance led by the US and Zionist lobbyists.
The senior seminary scholar referred to the recent terrorist attack against Iranian border guards in Saravan, Sistan and Baluchestan province, saying that these blind terrorist attempts, which are orchestrated by the cronies of the world arrogance, will only lead to stronger unity and solidarity in the Islamic nation.
Seventeen Iranian border guards were killed on Friday in a shoot-out with terrorists in the southeast Iran.
The tragic event took place in the Iranian border city of Saravan in Sistan-and-Baluchestan Province on Friday night. A group calling itself Jaish-ul-Adl has claimed responsibility for the terrorist attack.
