2nd Quran Manuscripts Exhibition to Open in Najaf

Imam Ali’s (AS) holy shrine in Najaf will host the second exhibition of Quran manuscripts from October 30.
According to the information website of the holy shrine, the exhibition will be organized by the committee of Qadir International Festival for three days.
Hashem Mohammad Morteza, supervisor of Quran manuscripts exhibition in Najaf said that necessary measures have been taken to prepare pavilions of the exhibition at Al-Qarawiya School at the Astan-e Alawi.
A collection of precious Quran manuscripts and Quranic illuminations as well as Quran copies dated back to the 1st to 14th centuries will be put on display at the exhibition.
He added that the exhibition will also showcase a Quran copy attributed to Imam Ali (AS) in the year 40 (A.H), two grains of rice on which Surah Ikhlas and Ghadr have been engraved, small-size Quran manuscripts and Quran copies with various styles.
The second edition of Qadir International Festival will be held by the custodianship of Imam Ali's (AS) holy shrine in Najaf from October 30 to November 1 .
