Library of Digital Shia Sources in German to Be Established

A library of digital Shia sources in the German language is planned to be established.
The decision to found the library was made in a meeting between heads of the Iranian National Library and the Library of the Majlis and the director of the Hamburg Islamic Center, IQNA’s Europe branch reported.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the International Book Fair of Frankfort after which the two Iranian officials visited different sections of the Hamburg Islamic Center.
Director of the Iranian National Library and Archives Center Eshaq Salahi and director of the Library, Museum and Archives Center of the Majlis Mohammad Rajabi learned about different activities of the center and discussed ways for cooperation in the meeting with head of the Hamburg Islamic Center Hojat-ol-Islam Ramezani.
The two sides agreed to cooperate in different areas including the establishment of the digital library of Shia German sources and translating Shia sources.
The Islamic Center of Hamburg, which is a major Shia institute in Germany and Europe, has more than 10,000 books in Islamic fields such as Fiqh (jurisprudence), Quranic sciences, Hadith, mysticism, Arabic language and literature, etc.
