Quran Recitation Sessions Planned on Sidelines of Muslim Students’ Competition

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Some 20 Quran recitation sessions are planned to be held on the sidelines of the 5th International Holy Quran Competition for Muslim Students.

They will be organized in mosques, universities, cultural centers and religious centers in Tehran with the participation of prominent Iranian Qaris as well as a number of contestants from other countries.
The fifth international Quran Contest for Muslim Students will start in the Iranian capital on January 1.
Representatives of more than 50 countries will compete in different categories of the competition, which will run for four days.
The first Quran recitation session will be held Monday night in Tehran’s Shahid Beheshti Mosque.
Mehdi Adeli and Mojtaba Mohammadbeigi from Iran and Muhammad Kamaloddin from Thailand will recite verses from the Holy Book in tonight’s program.
