Bangladeshi Memorizer Hails Iranian Officials’ Attention to Quranic Activities

TEHRAN (IQNA) – A Bangladeshi Quran memorizer hailed the Iranian president’s participation in the opening ceremony of the 5th International Quran Competition for Muslim Students.

Murshed Alam, who represents his country in the memorization category of the contest, said it shows the importance Iranian officials attach to Quranic activities.
He also described people’s reception of the contest as amazing and said it indicates the Holy Quran’s status among Iranian people.
Alam further appreciated the efforts made by the organizing committee of the international competition. 
Quran reciters and memorizers from 47 countries are attending the 5th International Quran Competition for Muslim Students which kicked off in Tehran on Thursday, January 1.
It will run until January 4 at the capital city’s Milad Tower.
