At the end of the preliminary stage in the recitation category, Mahmoud Kamaleldin Mahmoud Mohamed Ibrahim from Egypt, Vahid Khazaei from the Islamic Republic of Iran,Hussein Yusuf Sayyed from Lebanon, Djemail Nuhiju from Macedonia, and Abdulala Mohammed Qasim Alsadeqi from Iraq were selected as the finalists.
According to the jury panel of the competition, Morshed Alafrom Bangladesh, Abudallah Sadat Kagimu from Uganda, Mohamed Neyazi Mohamed Abdel Aziz from Egypt, Mahmoud Elkofri from Lebanon and Mohammad Javad Mohammadi Majd from Iran will compete in the final round of the Hifz (memorization) category.
The final round in both categories will be held this afternoon at the Milad Tower in Tehran and then winners will be awarded in the closing ceremony of the event.
The closing program will start at 19:30 with the participation of a number of officials including Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani and Tehran Mayor Mohammad Baqer Ghalibaf.
