According to Abdul Hadi Hassan, who is in charge of Quranic Circles Section of the holy shrine’s Dar-ol-Quran Center, the session was attended by internationally-known Iraqi Qaris, Quran experts of the country as well as a number of pilgrims of the holy shrine.
Seyyed Reza Nasruddin Al-Mousawi, eminent Iraqi Qari, recited some verses of the Holy Quran at the beginning of the session. It was followed by a speech delivered by Sheikh Sahib Nasar, lecturer of the Faculty of Jurisprudence at Kufa University, the website of the holy shrine reported.
The lecturer stressed the need for contemplating the Holy Quran and making use of the Quranic sciences.
Tawasheeh (religious singing) and Ibtihal (invocation) by Muhammad Amir, prominent Iraqi eulogist, and Quran recitation by ‘Ala Al-Sadeqi, well known Iraqi Qari, were among the programs of the Quranic session.
