Quranic Developments in Iraq and Muslim World Discussed in Karbala

TEHRAN (IQNA) - The latest Quranic developments and achievements in Iraq and the Muslim world as well as the methods of boosting cooperation and interaction among Quranic institutes were discussed in a meeting in the holy city of Karbala.


According to the website of the Astan (custodianship) of Imam Hussein (AS) holy shrine, the Dar-ol-Quran Al-Karim Center of the Astan hosted the meeting on January 25.

It was attended by Sheikh Abdul Jalil Al-Makrani, head of “Hazrat Roqayya (SA)” Quranic Center in the holy city of Qom, Sheikh Abdullah Al-Daqqaq, president of “Al-Imam Al-Hadi (AS)” Islamic University, Sheikh Hassan Al-Mansouri, head of the Dar-ol-Quran Center, Seyyed Murtaza Jamaluddin, deputy of the center, Haj Ali Ubud Al-Tayi, in charge of Quranic Education Section of the Dar-ol-Quran and a number of members of the center.

Al-Makrani and Al-Daqqaq also visited the Dar-ol-Quran Al-Karim and learned about the latest achievements and Quranic activities of the center.
