Iranian Representatives in Muslim Students Int’l Quran Contest to Be Honored

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The Iranian Qari and memorizer who competed for Iran in the 5th International Holy Quran Competition for Muslim Students will be honored in a ceremony next month.

Vahid Khazaei and Mohammad Javad Mohammadimajd represented Iran in the international Quranic event earlier this month.
Khazaei won the first title in the recitation category of the competition while Mohammadimajd came second in the category of memorization of the entire Quran.
The 5th edition of the International Holy Quran Competition for Muslim Students was held with the participation of 66 Quran memorizers and reciters from 47 countries.
Tehran’s Milad Tower hosted the great Quranic gathering of Muslim world students on January 1-4.
