TEHRAN (IQNA) – Iran’s foreign ministry spokeswoman on Wednesday slammed the heinous killing of a Jordanian pilot who had been captured by ISIL terrorist militants in Syria.

Marziyeh Afkham strongly condemned the inhumane crime of the Takfiri terrorist group and expressed sympathy with the family of the pilot and the people and government of Jordan.
She also called for decisive action against terrorism and avoiding selective approach to terrorist groups.
Militants belonging to the so-called Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) released a video on Tuesday appearing to show captured Jordanian pilot Muath al-Kaseasbeh being burnt alive in a cage, a killing that shocked the world and prompted Jordan to promise an "earth-shaking" response.
Amman executed two ISIL-linked Iraqi militants after the terrorist group released the online video.
