Iran’s Islamic Revolution Gave Countries Confidence to Stand up against Hegemonic Powers

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Leader of Nigeria’s Shia Muslims said the Islamic Revolution of Iran gave the world countries confidence to confront the arrogant powers.

Hojat-ol-Islam Seyed Ibrahim Yaqoub El-Zakzaky made the remark in a ceremony held in the holy city of Mashhad, northeast of Iran, to commemorate the martyrs of Muslim world.
He added that the Islamic Revolution taught the world people the lesson of liberty and seeking freedom, IRNA reported.
Hojat-ol-Islam Zakzaky also highlighted the inspirational role of the revolution and ideas of the late founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Imam Khomeini (RA).
He noted that since returning from a visit to Iran on the first anniversary of the Islamic Revolution, he has managed to introduce the ideals of the revolution to millions of people in Nigeria.
The Islamic Revolution, spearheaded by the late Imam Khomeini (RA), established a new political system based on Islamic values and democracy.
