Western Spy Agencies Behind Rise of Takfiri Groups
“These extremist groups claim to be supporting Islam and upholding the rights of Sunnis but, to the contrary, have killed more Sunnis than Shias and have distorted the image of Islam, Sheikh Muhammad Qadurrah said in an interview with IQNA.
He regretted that Takfiri and extremist ideologies have been on the rise in the region by those who are mercenaries of the US and West.
Member of the Palestine Islamic Council in Lebanon further underlined the need for unity in the Muslim Ummah.
He also urged Muslim scholars to stand up against the crimes of Takfiris and the killing of innocent Muslims.
Sheikh Qadurrah also said that the issue of Palestine and defending Palestinians against Zionist aggressions should be the main concern of the Muslim Ummah.
Followers of all Islamic schools of thought ought to stand against the common enemy of Muslims, namely the Zionist regime, he stated.
He thanked the Islamic Republic of Iran for assisting the oppressed Palestinian nation and described Iran’s efforts to defend the first Qibla of Muslims (al-Aqsa Mosque) as praiseworthy.
Sheikh Qadurrah underlined that the Islamic Republic is the main supporter of Palestine in resistance against the occupying regime.
He concluded by expressing hope that the Palestinian people will manage to liberate the occupied Palestinian lands.
