Nat’l Quran Competition Planned in Palestine
According to WAFA website, Yusuf Ad’eis, Palestinian minister of Awqaf and religious affairs said registration for the competition is underway in every province of the country under the supervision of the ministry.
Dissemination of Quranic teachings and helping to raise a Quranic generation are the main objectives of the competition, he said.
The categories of the contest include memorization of the entire Quran and memorization of 20 and 10 Juzes (parts) of the Quran along with observation of Tajweed principles.
Ad’eis also noted that the ministry has opened Quran memorization centers in all provinces of the country with the aim of developing Quranic activities.
The minister added that 10 top participants at the national Quran competition will be awarded.
