The international Quranic event is set to be held in the North African country later this month.
Reza Golshahi will represent the Islamic Republic in the recitation category of the contest while Mohammad Ali Eslami will compete in memorization of the entire Quran, Fars news agency reported.
The two had previously won top ranks in Iran’s national Quran competitions.
Last year, Iran sent Mahmoud Noruzi and Peyman Ayazi to Tunisia’s Quran contest. Noruzi won the third rank in Quran recitation and Ayazi came fourth in memorization.
Iranian Quran reciters and memorizers have made quite a lot of achievements in international Quranic events in recent years as the country has put a lot of efforts in the promotion of Quranic activities ion society, especially among the youth.
