Ami-ul-Mumenin (AS) Cultural Festival Planned in India
According to the website of the Astan (custodianship) of Imam Hussein (AS) holy shrine, the Astans of the holy shrines of Imam Hussein (AS) and Hazrat Abbas (AS) will organize the program on May 1-5.
Heidar Al-Salami, head of the office of the Husseini Astan, said that “Amir-ul-Mumenin (AS), A Divine Blessing and Human Role-Model” is the motto of the festival.
He added that the two previous editions of the cultural program were held in the city of Lucknow.
This edition of the festival will include Quranic sessions with the participation of Quran reciters and Muezzins from the holy shrines as well as exhibitions of Husseini holy shrine’s publications.
Competitions on religious themes and a photo exhibition will be among the programs of the festival.
