Biggest Quran Memorization Center to Open in UAE
According to Al-Bayan newspaper, the Quranic center of “Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan” Mosque is considered to be the biggest Quran memorization center of the country.
About 4000 students can participate in the morning and evening Quranic classes of the center.
It has been setup in line with the objectives of the UAE’s government and the General Office of Islamic Affairs of the country to develop Quranic centers of the region.
There are 70 Quranic centers in different parts of the country which host 37000 male and female students. More than 500 Quran memorization sessions are also held in the UAE’s mosques.
Quran memorization centers play an influential role in raising the younger generation based on the noble teachings of the Quran.
The centers also hold Quranic competitions with the aim of encouraging the youth and teenagers of the country to compete in memorization of the Holy Quran’s verses.
