Tunisia Int’l Quran Contest Wraps up

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The fifth International Quran Competition of Tunisia concluded in a ceremony in the capital Tunis on Wednesday night.

Winners of different categories were awarded at the ceremony, the public relations office of Iran’s Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization said.

Iranian representatives in the memorization category, Mohammad Ali Eslami, and recitation, Reza Golshahi, came fourth and fifth in their respective category.

The contest was held in the Tunisian capital on May 2-6, with the participation of representatives from 25 countries.

Iranian Quran master Mohammad Haj-Abolqassem served as a member of the jury panel in the North African country’s international Quranic event.
