Sheikh Maher Hammoud, the imam of the Quds Mosque in Saida, referred to the atrocities committed by Takfiri terrorist groups like ISIL and al-Nusra Front, and said day after day it become more apparent that these groups have no connection to Islam.
He further urged all Lebanese to support Hezbollah in its fight against Takfiri groups in Lebanon’s border areas, al-Ahd news website reported.
Earlier this week, Hezbollah Secretary General Seyed Hassan Nasrallah stressed that the party will move to face the terrorist threat in Qalamoun barrens near the border with Syria regardless of the Lebanese consensus which has never been available during the resistance movement battles against the enemy.
"If we had waited for the national consensus to face the terrorists, the takfiri groups would have reached many of the Lebanese areas," he said.
