Yemeni Nation’s Resolve, Faith to Defeat Saudi Regime: Nasrallah
In a message to a conference held in the city of Qom on the situation in Yemen, Nasrallah slammed the Al Saud regime as an oppressive and despotic regime that is massacring the oppressed people of Yemen, al-Manar TV network reported.
He said that Riyadh has mobilized all of its capacities to fight with the people of Yemen and (destroy) all of its infrastructures but that it will be defeated by Yemenis.
The Hezbollah chief further condemned the blockade of Yemeni people who are in need of humanitarian aid.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Nasrallah praised the Islamic Republic of Iran as the only government that truly supports the world’s oppressed.
The conference on “Supporting Oppressed People of Yemen” was held in Qom, Iran, on Sunday. It was attended by the senior scholars of Qom seminary.
Back on Friday, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said in a speech that Saudi Arabia does not want anyone to criticize the military aggression against Yemen.
He said the stance of Hezbollah has from day one been to condemn the Saudi military strikes against Yemen.
Out of the goals declared by Saudi Arabia in the military aggression against Yemen, Nasrallah said, none were achieved.
“Yes, they killed, they destroyed… criminal gangs can do that; aside from that, none of the declared goals were achieved,” he said.
Saudi Arabia has to end the aggression against and the blockade against Yemen, the Hezbollah leader said.
