Young Palestinian Can Imitate Masters’ Quran Recitations
TEHRAN (IQNA) – A young Palestinian Qari in the Gaza Strip can imitate the Quran recitation styles of more than 30 prominent reciters of the Muslim world.
Mahmoud Khulla has an outstanding Quranic talent and his recitations are very beautiful.
He can recite the Holy Book in different styles including those of masters like Abdul Basit Abdul Samad, Sheikh Mahmoud al-Hasri, etc, in a way that one finds it difficult to distinguish his and their recitations, al-Jazeera.net website reported.
Khulla’s Quran recitations always attract huge crowds at Gaza mosques.
He says he can imitate the style of any Qari by just listening to their recitations once or twice.
Khulla has also embarked on learning the entire Holy Quran by heart and wants to record his Tarteel recitation of the entire Quran in the near future.
