According to the website of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), Iranian Quran recite Masoud Mikdasti attended the Quranic events, which were organized by the Iranian cultural center.
The Quranic sessions were held for five consecutive nights after the Maghrib and Isha prayers with the participation of Shanghai Muslims.
Shanghai, on China’s central coast, is the country’s largest city and a global financial hub.
During the holy month of Ramadan, various Quranic programs are held across the Muslim world to promote reading the Quran and contemplating its concepts.
This year, the holy month began on June 18 and continues until July 17.
