The exhibition was held during the holy month of Ramadan (June 18-July 17) at Tehran’s Sacred Defense Garden Museum.
Zarqami said every night, the exhibition had between 40,000 and 180,000 visitors, IRNA reported.
According to the official, the books and cultural products presented at the expo were received well by the visitors.
He further said a council is planned to be set up for planning and making preparations for the next edition of the exhibition.
Zarqami expressed hope that with the experiences gained this year, next year’s exhibition will be held more successfully.
The International Quran Exhibition is annually mounted in Tehran by the ministry of culture and Islamic guidance.
It is organized during the blessed month of Ramadan with the aim of stimulating development and promotion in concepts of the Noble Quran.
The expo showcases the latest developments and achievements in Quranic sciences, activities and products.
