The expo, which was launched at Seoul’s exhibitions center on Friday, has been received very well.
It features booths offering Halal foods and products and showcasing Islamic Hijab, IRNA reported.
Koreans visiting the expo have shown a great deal interest to Islamic Hijab and Halal products.
According to the Korea Muslim Federation some 130,000 Muslims live in South Korea, around 30,000 of whom are native Koreans.
The Korea Muslim Federation was established in 1967 and the country’s first mosque was built in 1976.
