Halal Media Certificate Unveiled during IRTVU Congress
TEHRAN (IQNA) – The Halal Media Certificate was unveiled in a ceremony on the sidelines of the Islamic Radios and TVs Union (IRTVU) congress in Tehran.
During the Sunday ceremony, which was attended by the IRTVU secretary general, Syria’s information minister and Afghanistan’s culture minister, the formal news agency of the IRTVU was also launched.
It will cover news in Islamic countries within the framework of the union’s objectives.
Reporting on the developments in countries like Yemen, Syria, Afghanistan, and Pakistan will specifically be on the news agency’s agenda.
The 8th congress of IRTVU kicked off on Sunday in the Iranian capital.
220 TV and radio channels from 35 countries are attending the event.
A Media Technology Exhibition was also opened on the sidelines of the congress.
The motto of the gathering is “Prophet of Mercy; Mission of Resistance Media”.
