According to the International Islamic News Agency (IINA), 114 male and female Quran memorizers were honored in the closing ceremony of the course on September 5.
The ceremony was attended by Abdullah Al-Matouq, head of the council, who expressed satisfaction on the successful organization of the course and training the young Quran memorizers.
He said that the council has succeeded to train about 100 memorizers of the entire Quran every year.
Some of the participants in the courses can memorize the entire Quran within three years, while for some others it takes longer, he added.
The international council is based in Kuwait and headed by Abdullah Al-Matouq, advisor to the Emir of Kuwait.
