According to Al-Fajr website, the conference was opened by Muhammad Al-Kenawy, president of Al-Mansoura University which hosted the program.
The World Association of Scientific Miracle of the Holy Quran and Sunnah affiliated to the Muslim World League cooperated in the organization of the program.
The two-day conference was held under the supervision of Muhammad Al-Kenawy and Abdullah Al-Muslih, secretary general of the association.
Addressing the conference, Mustafa Al-Shimi, director of the association’s office in Cairo, said that “we live in the era of science and Quran is not apart from science.”
“The first verse of the Holy Quran revealed to the Holy Prophet (PBUH) ordered him to read and more than 1800 Nabawi Hadiths include scientific facts,” he added.
Husna Hamdan, expert of geology at the Science Faculty of Al-Mansoura University, also said that the clarification of Quranic miracles is very influential in the dissemination of Islamic culture and introduction of Islam to the West.
The president of the university asked for the establishment of a specialized center for the publication of studies and researches on the scientific miracle of Quran and Sunnah.
The conference investigated the miracles of the Divine Book and Sunnah in various fields of science including medicine, engineering, biology, astronomy, geology as well as social, human and religious sciences.
