According to Al-Manar TV, Nasrallah said the Yemeni nation insists on the country’s independence and opposes a return to the time of slavery.
He stressed that Saudi Arabia will suffer a historic and sever defeat in Yemen.
Yemen’s defenseless people have been under massive attacks by the coalition for months.
On March 26, Saudi Arabia and some of its Arab allies began to launch deadly airstrikes against the Houthi Ansarullah movement in an attempt to restore power to the fugitive former President Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi, a close ally of Riyadh.
More than 4000 people, many of them children and women, have been killed in the aggression against the Arab country so far.
Elsewhere in his remarks, the Hezbollah chief referred to the situation in Syria, saying that the Syrian nation and army’s resistance is the reason for the country’s victory over terrorism.
Nasrallah noted that Syria has a significant status in the Axis of Resistance and has foiled many of the United States’ plots and that is why the enemies wanted to deal a blow to the Arab country.
“So far, billions of dollars have been spent, hundreds of tons of weapons have been deployed and thousands of militants have been sent to Syria to destroy the country,” he stated.
Nasrallah added that Syria has put the threat behind it and is now on a new path in light of the internal, regional and international developments.
Syria has been gripped by civil war since March 2011. In the past four years, more than 240,000 people have died in Syria -overwhelmingly civilians– and around 4 million Syrian people are now refugees in other countries. Another 7.6 million are displaced inside Syria.
