Palestine Will Raise Its Flag on Al-Aqsa Mosque, Abbas Says

TEHRAN (IQNA) - Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has said that the Palestinian people will raise their flag on Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Church of Holy Sepulchre in East Jerusalem.

Mahmoud Abbas said that the Palestinian people will raise their flag on Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Church of Holy Sepulchre in East Jerusalem, just like it has been (raised) at the United Nations headquarters, Algeria Press Service (APS) reported.

Abbas said Israel must keep away from Muslim and Christian holy places in East Jerusalem, expressing support to the Palestinians "who defend Al-Aqsa Mosque and struggle to protect it."
