“Contemplation in the Quran” Int’l Forum Planned in Morocco
According to Sabaq newspaper, the World Association for Quran Contemplation will organize the program in cooperation with the Faculty of Literature and Human Sciences of Al-Hasan Al-Thani University.
400 academic figures, intellectuals and experts in Quranic sciences from different countries have been invited to attend the international forum.
Umar ibn Abdullah Al-Muqbil, head of the official council of the association said that the participants will investigate the methods used by eminent figures in contemplating the Quran during the past centuries.
The best works written on the art of contemplation in Quran will be introduced in the forum, he said.
Al-Muqbil added that the international program is a good opportunity for Quran activists to interact and exchange their experiences in this respect.
A discussion on the schools of the early scholars and the contemporary ones in Quran contemplation and an analysis of theoretical and comparative works in this field are among the themes of the program.
The World Association for Quran Contemplation is a scientific-advertising institute founded in 1433 A.H. with the aim of disseminating the culture of contemplation on the Quran in the Muslim world.
The objective of the institute is to create and strengthen the relation of Muslims with the Holy Quran and introduce the noble meanings of the Divine Book to the world.
