London Hosts Annual Ashura Procession

TEHRAN (IQNA) – London hosted its annual Ashura procession to mark the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein (AS) and his followers in Karbala.

Organizers were especially security-minded, following attacks against other global processions, Press TV reported.

They wanted to ensure that Imam Hussein’s (AS) message of fighting oppression, tyranny and injustice was heard in the British capital, despite the obstacles.
