Intensive Course for Quran Teachers Held in Indonesia

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Iranian Cultural Center in Indonesia held an intensive Quranic course for 40 Indonesian Quran teachers in Palembang city.


According to IQNA’s branch in East Asia, Abulfadhl Khoshmanish, Iranian expert in Quranic sciences who is a member of the scientific board of Tehran University and head of the Quranic Center of Iranian Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, taught the three-day course.





He stressed the important role of Quran teachers and referring to the verses of Surah Jom’ah, he noted that teaching the Holy Quran was an activity of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).



Congregational Quran reading, Tarteel reading of the Holy Quran in Minshawi’s style, Tahqeeq reading of Quran in Al-Hasri’s style and Majlisi’s Tahqeeq reading were taught in the course.





The participants also discussed contemplation in the Quran, Mutanadhir (corresponding) and Mutaqarin (symmetric) Surahs of Quran, and some important Tarteel principles in recitation of Muhammad Siddiq Minshawi as well as a semantic reading of the Quran.





Also among the themes of the course were Tarteel reading of Surah Baqarah, Al ‘Imran, Nisaa, the 30th Juz (part) of Quran, semantic analysis of Quranic verses, etc.
