Quran Exhibition Launched in Qatar

TEHRAN (IQNA) – A Quran exhibition titled “Rihla Al-Mushaf” (Travel with Quran) featuring Quran manuscripts of different periods was opened in Doha, Qatar.

 According to Al-Raya newspaper, the exhibition was opened with the presence of Hamd ibn Abdulaziz Al-Kuwari Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage of Qatar.

It has been mounted in a 300-square meter area at the city’s Ezdan Mall Cultural Center.

60 Quran manuscripts dating back to different Islamic periods have been put on display at the exhibition.

There are some touch-screen monitors provided for visitors who are interested to know about evolutions in writing Quran copies and Islamic calligraphy.

The information and details about the Quran copies have been presented in Arabic and English.

The Quran exhibition will welcome visitors for ten days, the report said.
