TEHRAN (IQNA) – A study of the global halal food market shows the halal trade will significantly rise in Europe and Russia in the coming years.

The study by Britain’s TechNavio company forecasts Europe’s halal market to grow by more than 2 percent annually until 2018.

Among halal products, halal meat is the most popular as the value of global halal meat trade is around 2.3 trillion dollars.

It has become even popular with non-Muslims in many countries.
