University of Strasbourg to Host Forum on “Teaching of Islamic Sciences”
TEHRAN (IQNA) – An international forum on “teaching of Islamic sciences” will be held on November 17 by the University of Strasbourg in France.
According to youm7.com, the university will host the international program until November 19.
The means of teaching of Islamic sciences in universities will be investigated in the forum to be attended by eminent academic figures from France, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Belgium, Egypt and the Netherlands.
It is one of the important programs to be organized by the university on teaching the principals of Islam.
Eric Geoffroy, expert in Islam and professor of Islamic studies in the Department of Arabic and Islamic Studies at the University of Strasbourg and Pierre Lory, French researcher, will participate in the forum.
“The challenges faced by religions” is the theme of the speech to be presented by the researcher.
