According to the akhbaar24 website, Abdullah, aged 9, is originally from Bangladesh.
He has learned the entire Quran by heart and managed to obtain an excellent score at the Quran memorization exam held by the city’s Khayrukum Quran Memorization Society.
His father says he started memorizing the Quran at the city’s al-Rajihi Mosque two years ago.
Abdullah learned two pages of the Quran by heart every day and managed to memorize the entire Holy Book in a short time.
Abdullah wants to become a religious scholar to help people in religious affairs, his father adds.
Abdullah is one of the 1000 Quran memorizers, boys and girls, who are scheduled to be honored in a ceremony in Jeddah later this month.
