Spain: Central University of Barcelona Boycotts Israel

TEHRAN (IQNA) - The Deanship of the Central University of Barcelona has announced the severance of all kinds of communications and relationships with Israeli universities and institutions that are directly or indirectly associated with the occupation.

Thus, the university has joined the global anti-racism initiative "Places without Racism", which comprises hundreds of municipalities, institutions, universities and organizations from around the world.

The Commission on the boycott of Israel was established in Spain in 2007, and has since been adopted by the Canary Islands and Seville as well as other cities in support of the Palestinian question.
