Students of Karachi Quran Foundation Awarded Certificates

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The students of the Holy Quran Foundation in Karachi, Pakistan, were awarded certificates in a ceremony held at the Iranian Cultural Center in the city.

According to the website of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, the ceremony was attended by Mahdi Khatib, in charge of the Iranian Cultural Center, Hojat-ol-Islam Seyyed Razi Heydar, Sheikh Salim, the head of the Al-Mahdi Seminary, Mohammad Reza Davdani, Abrar Hussein, a Quran expert of the foundation and some other members of the Quranic center.

The program began with Quran recitation by Nijat Hussein, and continued with a speech by Khawar Reza, an official with the foundation, who briefly introduced the activities and courses held by the foundation in cooperation with the Iranian center.

He stressed the importance of teaching Quranic sciences including Tajweed principles, reading and Tarteel recitation of Quran.

Also addressing the ceremony, the Iranian cultural figure referred to a Hadith by the Holy Prophet (PBUH) about the virtues of learning the Quran and highlighted the Divine blessings for Quran students.

He said that Quran students play an influential role in their family and society and they are a source of honor of the Islamic society.

The graduate students of the center were awarded certificates at the end of the program.
